Hey guys! We had another sonogram this morning and everything is progressing as normal, and for that we are very grateful. They did not confirm the sex yet, although we are pretty confident it’s a girl. The sonogram guy showed us all the visible organs and indicated that they were working properly. It was pretty cool to watch and it is always wonderful to see our little baby.

A couple weekends ago Lindsay, Dad, Glenda, Amy and I all joined up at the prestigious Lupe’s Mexican Food in Henderson to celebrate Papa’s (9oth!) and Uncle Dale’s birthday. It is always a treat to get to hang out with the family, we need to do it more often. Here are some pictures from the trip.
Just wanted everyone to know that our nuchal tests from a few weeks ago came back normal. If you don’t know what a nuchal test is…well…I don’t really know either. But the miracle of “googling” what a nuchal test is yielded this result:
The nuchal test uses ultrasound to measure the clear (translucent) space in the tissue at the back of your developing baby’s neck. Babies with abnormalities tend to accumulate more fluid at the back of their neck during the first trimester, causing this clear space to be larger than average.
We go to the doctor on Friday for a monthly checkup. Please continue to pray for baby and mommy!
Amy and I decided that it was time to get back into the blogging business so we can keep everyone up to date with the baby. We are both SUPER excited that we have had healthy reports thus far (13-14 weeks). Amy is doing well and getting a LOT of sleep. The pregnancy (and working with 2nd graders all day) makes her ready for bed at 8:30 every night!
Our last sonogram was Wednesday and just in case you haven’t heard…it looks like we are having a girl! Now, it’s not official yet because it is still early, but the doctor is pretty confident it’s a girl.
